ArtHive Color Picker is built to be a local utility tool.

• No Personal Information: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, address, location, or IP address.

2. Local Data Storage

The extension includes a "History" feature to help you keep track of picked colors.

• Local Only: All color hex codes and RGB values are stored strictly on your device using chrome.storage.local.
• No Cloud Sync: This data is never uploaded to our servers or any third-party services.
• User Control: You can clear your entire color history at any time using the "Clear History" button within the extension popup.

3. Permission Justifications

To provide its core functionality, the extension requires the following permissions:

• activeTab & scripting: Used only to trigger the native browser EyeDropper API to allow you to select colors from your screen.
• storage: Used strictly to save your color history locally on your machine.

4. Third-Party Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer any user data to outside parties. Since the extension does not collect data, there is no information to share or sell.
